This encounter between international Merlot and Sicilian Nero D’Avola produces a vigorously characterful wine: sanguine ruby-red in colour with a dark core of purple highlights, it reveals a powerful scent of black and red berries, both fresh and preserved, and more nuanced notes of tobacco. The palate is broad and very complex, with a decisive mouthfeel, elegant tannins, robust body and very persistent finish.
It is best enjoyed with roasts, braised meats, kebabs and grilled meats.
After the crush and the removal of the grapes from the stalks, fermentation is carried out in keeping with traditional principles but with delicate maceration of the skins, which guarantees full extraction of color and, above all, the aromas and the polyphenolic substances they contain.
